Connectivity The newsletter" Connectivity" is distributed twice monthly to parents, teachers, administrators and students within the Anchorage School District and statewide. This newsletter monitors developments in the field of special education, tracks information for families and educators on educating students with special medical and mental needs as well as providing a listing of local educational opportunities. Options for Tomorrow The newsletter “Options for Tomorrow” provides information for transition planning and disability topics for high school special education students, parents and teachers. Preschool Press The newsletter "Preschool Press" is created for families with preschool aged children. Articles will include important information about developmental stages, health and medical concerns, special needs issues and places to seek further information.

A bimonthly online newsletter. The goal at Beyond Borders is to come alongside helpers (leaders) in under-resourced parts of the world. Many of the needs and challenging dynamics faced in rural Alaska are similar to those we encounter around the world. We have the desire, and we believe the obligation, to help meet the needs of those closest to us as well as those far away.

Family Guide
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration developed A Family Guide To Keeping Youth Mentally Healthy & Drug Free to support adults—parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, and other youth mentors—in their efforts to help children ages 7 to 18 make good decisions, feel safe and protected, and have successful lives. The ultimate goal is to promote youth mental health and to discourage youth alcohol, tobacco, and illegal drug use.

HSIS Newsletter
The HSIS Newsletter is a free one-page zine, with clickable links, which provides: Important medical alerts, Recent research findings, Useful health-related web sites, Resources offered by the National Library of Medicine, Changes in database search features and techniques, and Updates on HSIS collections, services and staff.

Our Data Matters
Tied closely with the National Technical Assistance Center for Children's Mental Health's 2007 teleconference call series, featured discussions in Data Matters will coincide with the conference call topic of the month. As such, this site will be in constant flux hopefully giving participants an incentive to visit frequently. Our hope is to create an interesting, useful and thought-provoking dialogue amongst our diverse community.
