Description: Alaska's Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives is coordinating a series of two-day capacity building workshops offered at NO COST to grassroots, faith-based and community organizations. Workshops are particularly suited for directors, supervisors and board members.
The following five areas of organizational capacity building will be addressed: Leadership Development (mission, core values, vision, strategic planning, and board development), Organizational Development (policies and procedures), Program/Service Development , Revenue Development (incorporating mission into fund development), Community Engagement (needs assessment/asset mapping, web-site development), In Partnership with KMD Services & Consulting Empowering Individuals & Organizations to Success .
