The evening includes dinner, a class for children ages 6-11 years old and a class for the adults (childcare provided for children under six years old). The material covers parenting basics from decreasing family conflicts to increasing family togetherness. The class will reinforce skills grandparents may already know as well as provide them with new tools in raising their grandchildren. The children’s class will offer children a chance to learn how to improve communication skills, to improve problem solving and other skills. This class is open to grandparents raising their grandchildren.
