American Bar Association Center Discussion Groups on children and domestic violence

This list provides professionals from a variety of disciplines to discuss the issues that arise when children are exposed to domestic violence and when child maltreatment and domestic violence co-occur. It is open to anyone interested in discussing the issues around these cases. The list is supported by a grant from the David and Lucille Packard Foundation and is part of our ongoing project to involve attorneys in efforts to improve practice in cases involving domestic violence and children.

American Bar Association Center Discussion Groups on child abuse and neglect

This forum discusses efforts to improve the court process in child abuse and neglect cases and related proceedings. It is open to organizations and persons who are working with state court projects to improve the courts' handling of these cases. The forum supports the national Court Improvement Program which is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Children's Bureau. 49 state court systems and the District of Columbia participate in this program.
