Operation Rebound: Helping Students Who Experience Psychological Trauma

Psychological trauma in children and adolescents can be produced by many events including death of a peer, unexpected violent events, or disasters such as hurricanes. This program will assist educational professionals in distinguishing normal, expected reactions to severe psychological stressors from abnormal reactions that require additional professional assistance. The program outlines student behavior, as well as impact on displaced families. Based out of Alabama, this webcasts are free.
